Welcome to StarSync (星語), published by Neuralworks. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our offline-capable astrology application.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Birth Information

• Birth date (day, month, year)
• Birth time (optional, for precise chart)
• Birth location (city/country)
• Zodiac sign

2.2 Account Information

• Email address (optional)
• Display name
• Profile avatar

2.3 Astrology Data

• Natal chart calculations and results
• Daily horoscope readings
• Emotion log entries
• Saved charts and notes

2.4 Device and Analytics Data

• Device model and OS version
• Unique device identifier
• App usage patterns and crash logs
• Widget interactions

2.5 Advertising Data

• Limited ad-related data for AdMob personalization

6. Data Storage and Retention

All data is stored locally on your device. We retain your data as long as the app is installed. If you delete the app, all local data is removed. We do not maintain backup copies on external servers. You can export your data before uninstalling.

7. In-App Purchases

StarSync offers two IAP options: "Remove Ads" and "Premium" (includes ad removal plus additional features). All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not handle payment information. Apple manages billing and PCI compliance.

8. Your Rights and Choices

8.1 Data Access

All your data is stored on your device and accessible within the app at any time.

8.2 Data Export

You can export your natal chart, horoscope history, and emotion logs from the app settings in standard format.

8.3 Data Deletion

You can delete any saved chart or emotion log entry within the app. Uninstalling the app removes all data from your device.

8.4 Push Notification Control

You can disable push notifications in app settings or iOS Settings > Notifications > StarSync.

8.5 Ad Personalization

Disable personalized ads in iOS Settings > Privacy > Apple Advertising, or purchase "Remove Ads" or "Premium" IAP.

9. Push Notifications

StarSync sends daily horoscope and astrological event notifications. You can customize notification times in app settings or disable them entirely. We do not send unsolicited promotional messages.

10. Widget and Dynamic Island

Widgets display your daily horoscope and astro-event countdown using data stored locally on your device. Widget data is not shared with third parties.

11. Data Security

Your data is stored locally on your encrypted device. Communication with Apple's servers (for push notifications) uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. We do not collect or transmit sensitive birth information to external servers.

12. Children's Privacy

StarSync is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we discover such collection, we will delete the data immediately.

13. Third-Party Services

• Apple Push Notification Service: Delivers daily horoscope notifications securely
• Google AdMob: Displays ads in free version (you can opt-out via purchasing)
• Apple App Store: Processes all in-app purchases
